Biography/History notePanama City is located in Bay County, Florida. The November 1925 extraordinary session of the Legislature of Florida abolished the City of Panama City, Town of Millville, and City of St. Andrews to create a new City of Panama City from the three municipalities. A special election was held on March 9, 1926, in which the three municipalities voted in favor of consolidation. The new Panama City was incorporated on March 12, 1926, with Millville and St. Andrews remaining as unincorporated communities within Panama City.
