Biography/History note | German preacher and chronicler, who took part in the fourth Lateran Council (1215) and the Fifth Crusade (1217-1221). He was the bishop of Paderborn from 1223 until 1225, when he was elevated to cardinal by Pope Honorius III. He authored a number of historical texts about the Holy Land. |
