Wikipedia, viewed October 17, 2023: (Giuseppe Renato Imperiali; born 1 May 1651; died 18 February 1737; Italian cardinal and avid bibliophile; studied in Rome at the Collegio Germanico-Ungarico, and in 1672 he was made referendary of the Segnatura; in 1688, he became Treasurer General of the Holy Roman Church; made a cardinal in 1690; sent to Ferrara as papal legate and remained there for seven years; after his return to Rome, he was appointed Prefect of the Congregation of Buon Governoin in 1701; died in Rome in 1737)
