Belinfante [corrected to J.C. van Lier and G. Belinfante, v. 2, page 866])

Velde, Henk te. "Spelers en spelbrekers," in De negentiende eeuw, v. 30 (2006), pages 35-47, via De moderne tijd website, September 30, 2020: pages 38-39 (Parlementaire portretten, by "Sagittarius," 1869, is probably by two people, perhaps Kamerstenograaf I.C. van Lier and the parlementary journalist George Belinfante; it has also been ascribed to W.J.A. Jonckbloet (see K. ter Laan, Letterkundig woordenboek voor Noord en Zuid, 1952); Huub Wijfjes, Journalistiek in Nederland 1850-2000, 2004, gives Belinfante and van Lier without citing sources; collaboration between Jonckbloet and van Lier is also conceivable, since Jonckbloet knew van Lier well from the stenography committee of the Chamber and van Lier resigned his post in 1869, was a good stylist and "wellicht een afscheidsgrap in gedachten had")
