Wikipedia, Sept. 6, 2013 (Leonardo Balada; born September 22, 1933, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain; composer, now teaching and composing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After studying piano at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona, in 1956 he emigrated to the United States to study at the Juilliard School in New York. In 1981, he became a naturalized citizen of the United States. He teaches at Carnegie Mellon University)
