Rainier National Park; member and chair (1912-1936) of the Seattle-Tacoma Rainier National Park Committee; photographer for the Seattle Chamber of Commerce; owned an orchard in Ellensburg, Washington; president of the Washington Irrigation Association in the 1920's; President of the Washington State Good Roads Association, 1932-1933; Curtis Glacier of Mount Shuksan was named for him; d. 1941)
