Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, April 17, 2018: Hans Maršálek page (Hans Maršálek; born 19 July 1914 in Vienna; died 9 December 2011 in Vienna; Austrian typesetter, political activity, detective and historian; a socialist active in anti-Nazi resistance, he was arrested and imprisoned in the Mauthausen concentration camp; after the war, joined the Austrian political police and was instrumental in tracking down and convicting numerous Nazi criminals; also became the main chronicler of the camp's history, helped establish the Mauthausen Memorial museum, and published several books)
