Wikipedia (in German), viewed January 10, 2023 (Albert Ziegler (Theologe); born July 11, 1927 in Zurich; died August 4, 2022 in Menzingen; Swiss Roman Catholic theologian, ethicist and author; he studied philosophy at Berchmanskolleg in Pullach, 1950-1953, followed by social sciences and politics at Internationalen Institut der Universität Freiburg, where he received his doctorate in philosophy; he studied theology at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, 1956-1960, during which time he was ordained as a priest; he took his final vows as a Jesuit in Zurich in 1966; he worked as a university chaplain at Akademikerhaus, Hirschengraben, Zurich, becoming a lecturer and writing newspaper articles as well as book and film reviews, and later advising companies on professional ethics; he worked at the Akademikerhaus until 1989; he was a member of the Ethischen Kommission der Schweizerischen Akademie der Medizinischen Wissenschaften; Head of Schweizerisches Sozialarchivs, 1964-2007)
