de.wikipedia.com, 15 April 2020 (Jean-Jacques Dünki (born February 28, 1948 in Aarau , Switzerland ) is a Swiss pianist and composer. Dünki started to play the piano at the age of nine. After attending the cantonal school in Aarau, he began studying music in Basel . He also studied in London , Paris , Berlin , Baltimore and New York , among others with well-known pianists such as Leon Fleisher , Peter Feuchtwanger , Charles Rosen , Maurizio Pollini and Claude Helffer . In 1981, Jean-Jacques Dünki won the renowned Arnold Schönberg Prize in Rotterdam . Since 1984 he has been leading a piano class at the Music Academy of the City of Basel .
