Biography/History noteGoldwyn Pictures Corporation was a motion picture production company. The company was established in 1916 by Samuel Goldwyn, Edgar Selwyn, and Archibald Selwyn with headquarters in Fort Lee, New Jersey. In 1924 the company merged with Metro Pictures and Louis B. Mayer Pictures to form Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
