Served as U.S. Senator from March 4, 1813 to December 24, 1814, then returned to the Kentucky Senate from 1817 to 1820. Served as a professor at Transylvania University 1822-1825 then a minister in the Chrisitian Church (Disciples of Christ). Moved to Mississippi, then to Texas. Died in Nacogdoches, Texas on June 25, 1836.) |
