Baytelman, P. Isaac Albéniz, chronological list and thematic catalog of his piano works, 1993 (Albéniz intended the Suite española to have 8 dances with place name titles, but he completed only 4 (Granada, Cataluña, Sevilla, and Cuba) which were first issued separately 1886-1892; later, publishers issued the suite with 8 dances, adding Cádiz, Asturias, Aragón, and Castillas which had already been published as separate works with different titles. It is uncertain whether the composer authorized these additions.)
