Wikipedia, 7 April 2017 (Kazimierz Morawski (philologist); Kazimierz Morawski (29 January 1852 - 25 August 1925); was a Polish classical philologist, historian, translator, professor and rector of Jagiellonian University, president of Polish Academy of Learning, candidate for President of Poland; born in Jurkowo and died in Kraków;he studied philology and history at Humboldt University of Berlin (1869-1874), receiving his Ph.D. ; began work as a lecturer at Jagiellonian University, becoming a professor there in 1880; in 1887 became a full professor at the university and ws also a full member of the Academy of Learning in Kraków; between 1906 and 1907 was a rector of the Jagiellonian University; was nominated as President of the Academy of Learning (1918))
