Biography/History noteMario Nascimbene (1913-2002) was an Italian film composer and orchestrator, who also wrote jazz, symphonic, and chamber music. He was the first Italian composer to write original music for Hollywood productions, and invented a form called "Mixerama" which allowed him to integrate music with natural and artificial sounds.
