Biography/History noteRusenska oblast existed from 1992 to 1999. Razgradska oblast was renamed Rusenska oblast in 1992. In 1999, Rusenska oblast was split into four small oblasts: Razgrad, Ruse, Silistra, and Tŭrgovishte.
