Dictionnarie de biographie française, 1982 (Gilon de Paris; b. at Toucy (Yonne) toward the end of the 11th cent., d. around 1142. Was also called Gilon de Toucy; was made Bishop of Tusculum by the Pope in 1121. He wrote, among other titles: De via Hierosolymitana, quando, expulsis et occisis paganis, devictae sunt Nicaea, Antiochia et Hierusalem a christianis. He was frequently confused with one Gilles de Paris)
