Desaparecidos website, July 1, 2017: (Miguel Etchecolatz; Commissioner General of Police for the province of Buenos Aires, where he acted as the right hand of Buenos Aires Police Chief Ramón Camps; General Director of Investigations for the Buenos Aires Police; responsible for the 21 Clandestine Detention Camps that functioned in Buenos Aires, among them the Pozo de Quilmes, COT1 Martínez and the División Cuatrerismo de La Plata (Arana); among many disappearances and killings, Etchecolatz was responsible for the "Night of the Pencils", an operation that involved the disappearance of several high school students in one night; convicted in Federal Court of 91 charges of torture, and sentenced to 23 years in prison, but was freed through the "Due Obedience" law; author of books defending the repression in Argentina, and is now vicepresident of ANIDAR (a fascist group formed by retired military, ex-repressors and neo-nazis); resident of Buenos Aires, Argentina)
