Wikipedia in German, viewed March 30, 2023 (Friedrich Grimm (Jurist); Friedrich Wilhelm Johannes Grimm; German Nazi politician, lawyer, publicist and propaganda speaker; doctorate in law, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität; in 1914 he became a partner in the law firm of Adolf Kempkes in Essen; after his habilitation in Münster, he worked from 1922 as a private lecturer at the University of Münster and became an associate professor of international law there in 1927; during the Weimar Republic, he distinguished himself as a successful defence lawyer in numerous political trials in which perpetrators from nationalist or anti-republican circles were accused; he was later involved in drafting anti-semitic laws; until 1933 he belonged to the DVP, later joining the NSDAP; in November 1933 he became a member of the Reichstag; he held high office in the Reichsrechtsamt-Amt für Rechtsbetreuung des deutschen Volkes; he was the Third Reich's most prominent lawyer in foreign policy matters; in 1937, he was admitted to the bar at the Berlin Court of Appeal, then the Berlin Higher Regional Court; after the fall of France, he held the position of consul general in France, coming to the country on special missions; he resumed the practice of law in 1949, defending former Nazi functionaries, and continued right-wing writings, later joining the Deutsche Reichspartei; he also published under the pseudonyms Accursius and Pierre Dumoulin; titles listed in German and French)
