He is currently living in Nicosia, Cyprus, where he is completing a novel. "Fishermen" is his first publication in the United States. 2) Chigozie J. Obioma; Chigozie was born in Nigeria. His young adult novel, The Native Hurricane was published in the UK in 2008. His fiction has appeared in Virginia Quarterly Review, New Madrid and elsewhere.
