Dedicated her whole life to the care of diabetic women during pregnancy and to children with this condition. Studied at Radcliffe College and Tufts University Medical School. In 1924, White was recruited by Dr Elliott Joslin to work in his famous diabetic clinic at the New England Deaconness Hospital. She died on December 16, 1989.)
