Biography/History note | Jean d'Aillon was born in 1948 and lives in Aix-en-Provence. A doctor of economics, he spent a large part of his career at the university teaching economics and macroeconomics, and then in finance administration. He has been responsible for several years of research projects in economics, statistics and artificial intelligence within the European Commission. He has published about twenty historical novels around criminal intrigues. He resigned from the Finance Administration in 2007 to devote himself to writing.
