Oxford DNB (WWW), Dec. 12, 2006 (in article Parr, R. (fl. 1736-1751): Nathaniel Parr, d. 1751, engraver, probably brother of R. Parr; some of his prints are signed "N. Parr" but his work is commonly signed "Parr" or "Messrs. Parr"; engraved ports., bookplates, maritime views, naval engagements, architectural works, and topographical views. Parr, then resident in the parish of St Clement Danes, Westminster, died between Dec. 3, 1751, when he signed his will, and Dec. 9, when it was proved.
