German Wikipedia, viewed January 24th, 2024 (Theodor Dorsten (actually Theodor Gluntius, born 1492 or between 1500 and 1505 in Dorsten, died 1552) was a German physician and botanist. In 1531 he started teaching as a Professor of Medicine at the University of Marburg. In 1542 he was listed as Theodericus Gluntius Dorstenius, head of the education department and university professor in Marburg, and he also appears to have settled in Kassel as a doctor from 1548.)
