In 1952 he was director of the main Italian smelter Nebiolo. In 1975 he founded his own studio and his work gave him a great international reputation. Creator of numerous and magnificent typefaces such as Garaldus, Straight, Euroestil, Stop, Fenice, Novarese ... as well as the classification of types that bear his name)
