Special note	Has been incorrectly identified in some records with the Oxford bookseller John Crosley, d. 1613, based solely on misidentification of "Johannes Kroeselii Vilseccensis, Ingolstadianae Academiae bibliothecarii" on title page of Croeselius' edition of Bede, Axiomata philosophica (London, 1592; originally published: Ingolstadt, 1583).
