Wikipedia, May 1, 2012 (The 21er Haus or Einundzwanziger Haus was originally constructed as the Austrian pavilion for Expo 58 in Brussels; it was later transferred to Vienna to house the Museum of the 20th Century, which is why it was nicknamed 20er Haus, and opened as a museum in 1962. Between 1979 and 2001, the building was a branch of the Museum of Modern Art (MUMOK); it was finally incorporated into the Österreichische Galerie Belvedere in 2002 but the building sat empty for several years due to lack of funds; renovation began in 2008 and it reopened as 21er Haus, Nov. 15, 2011)
