Biography/History noteNihara Reika Gunawardene is an Adjunct Research Fellow in the Department of Environment and Agriculture, School of Science, Faculty of Science and Engineering on the campus of Curtin University in Bentley, Western Australia. Her major research background is ant ecology in arid and tropical environments, and she lists her research fields on her Google Scholar Citations page as entomology, ecology, and conservation. She received a BS in Biology and Environmental Science and Policy in 1999 from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
