Wikipedia, viewed Jan. 16, 2015: Cornelis Benjamin Biezeno (Cornelis Benjamin Biezeno, born March 2, 1888 in Deft, Netherlands and died September 5, 1975 in Wageningen, Netherlands. Biezeno was a Dutch applied mathematician and scientist in mechanical engineering. He was a professor of mechanics at TU Deft from 1937 to 1938 and became professor rector magnificus at the University from 1949-1951. His book "Technische dynamik" became a primary reference source in its era. He was one of the organizers of the first International Congress of Applied Mechanics held in Delft, 1924. Biezeno was given honorary doctorates by the University of Ghent, the University of Amsterdam, and the Free University of Brussels. In 1939, he was elected a member of the Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences)
