Julius Janiczek on September 8th, 1887 in Mährisch Trübau; d. on September 5th, 1956 in Munich) studied in Vienna, Austria; Freiburg, Switzerland and Prague, focusing on German and music theory. He founded the Finkensteiner Bund, which belonged to the Jugendmusik movement. From 1925 to 1927 he led the music school for young people in Dortmund and then opened his own music school in Stuttgart. From 1946 to 1950 he worked as a consultant for the Städtischen Bücherei in Munich. Besdies Fritz Jöde, Hensel is one of the leading figures in the Jugendmusik movement. He was actively engaged in protecting folk dances and folk songs)
