German Wikipedia, accessed June 22, 2015 (Eduard von Rodt (full name: Friedrich Karl Eduard von Rodt) born July 22, 1849 in Bern; died July 12, 1926 in Bern; son of Karl Eduard von Rodt and Cäcilie Brunner; he studied under the architect Gottlieb Hebler; from 1869 to 1870 he studied at the Polytechnic School in Stuttgart; in 1874 he married Anna von Mülinen; from 1872 he worked as an architect in Bern; worked in offices of Adolphe Tièche and August Eggimann; from 1881-1894 he was the director of the Bernisches Historisches Museum; from 1892 to 1923 he was an member of the Aufsichtskommission of the museum; his estate, consisting of drawings, graphic collections, books is located in the Bernisches Historisches Museum)
