Traducciones al español de Twelfth Night (1873-2005), 2012 (Jaime Clark (1844-1875) and Guillermo Macpherson (1824-1898) marked a turning point for Shakespeare in Spain. Clark was born in Naples, 20 January 1844. Little is known about his life. His translation was dedicated to his uncle Joseph Ruston, perhaps the famous English engineer. He was baptized as James Clark. A contemporary referred to him as Anglo-Spanish. He also lived in Vienna and Prague, and died in Vienna.)
