In 1740 he was sent to a mission in Pennsylvania for the year; he returned again in 1754.)
Find A Grave, viewed, April 25, 2016 Rev Fr Theodore Schneider (birth: April 7, 1703 ; death: July 10th, 1764. On the 19th of September 1740, Father Schneider received his orders from Father Retz to leave for his mission station in Pennsylvania...In a letter to friends in Germany dated June 1741, and published some years ago in that country, Father Schneider states that he was busy seeking out and ministering to the scattered Catholics in the backwoods of Pennsylvania.)
