Wikipedia, August 23, 2017 (Karl Emil August Rasche (born August 23, 1892 in Iserlohn, Germany, 13 September 1951, near Basel) was a German lawyer, SS leader and banker, and later also spokesman of the Dresdner Bank in the period of national socialism. As the only banker from the private economy, Rasche was prosecuted on 4 November 1947 in the Wilhelmstressen process, which took place within the framework of the Nuremberg trials. On April 11, 1949, Rasche was sentenced to seven years imprisonment. He was released early in August 1950. He eventually worked as a company consultant and died of a heart attack on a work-related train trip to Basel.)
