As the only banker from the private economy, Rasche was prosecuted on 4 November 1947 in the Wilhelmstressen process, which took place within the framework of the Nuremberg trials. On April 11, 1949, Rasche was sentenced to seven years imprisonment. He was released early in August 1950. He eventually worked as a company consultant and died of a heart attack on a work-related train trip to Basel.) |
