Found in | Paisajes de la guerra y la postguerra, 2017: title page (Alicia Torija) pages 347-8 (undergraduate and doctorate degrees from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in ancient history and prehistory; in the last 20 years, in addition to numerous publications, she has directed and participated in close to 100 archaeological digs throughout Spain, as well as other countries, such as Egypt and Syria; she has coordinated teams in sites that cover the last 10,000 years; she also worked for 2 years on diverse projects of the Museo Arquelógico Nacional, for 4 years as a consultant to UNESCO for their World Heritage Center in Paris, and as cultural director for the Ministry of Culture in the Cultural Heritage Protection department; currently is professor in Tuft's University's program in Spain and researcher in a project !+D+i of the CSIC; also secretary of Asociación Madrileña de Trabajadores y Trabajadoras en Arqueología, and vice-president of Madrid Ciudadanía y Patrimonio; has served as the voice of the Plataforma en Defensa de la Cultura and currently is vocal in the Consejo Regional de patrimonio de Madrid; atorija@ucm.es)
