German Wikipedia, August 17, 2018 Georg Coelestin (born April 23, 1525 in Plauen, died December 13, 1579 in Berlin; was a German Lutheran theologian and clergyman. After studying at the University of Leipzig, Georg Coelestin received the title of Magister in 1546. In 1549 he found in Schneeberg a job as a pastor; deacon at the Thomaskirche in Leipzig; he was in 1551 in Berlin; in 1564 finally court preacher. Five years later, in 1569, he obtained a doctorate in theology. From 1571 he was working as a Berlin provost and Oberkonsistorialrat; collected and published the letters of Martin Luther)
