Biography/History note | Gutolf, von Heiligenkreuz (died approximately 1300) was a Cistercian monk at Abtei Heiligenkreuz between 1265 and 1285, after which he served four years as Abbot of Marienberg monastery. He returned to Heiligenkreuz before his death. Gutolf was a grammarian, hagiographer, and historian. |
