| Biography/History note | Cyriak, Freiherr von Polheim (1495-1533) was an Austrian statesman. He was a representative of Upper Austria, elected as a provincial administrator and sent to Charles V as an ambassador. In 1521, he was appointed to the Hofrat, and later he was made privy councilor, chamberlain, Oberhofmeister, and governor of Lower Austria by Archduke Ferdinand. |
