Biography/History noteErnst Auer (died 1432) was Bishop of Gurk from 1411, known for participating in the Council of Constance and his subsequent reform of the Augustinian Order. He also served as chancellor to the Duke of Austria, Ernst des Eisernen, from 1415, and to his successor Friedrich after 1424.
