Wikipedia, October 9, 2014 (Henri Friedlaender; born March 15, 1904 in Lyon; died November 15, 1996 in Jerusalem; book designer and typographer; his mother was English and his father was German; when he was six, the family moved to Berlin; in the fall of 1925 he moved to Leipzig; he left Germany in 1932 with the beginning of the Nazi regime and moved to the Netherlands; he was the artistic director of Mounton & Co., where he created typographical works and font designs; in 1950 he took over the management and development of the Hadassah Apprentice School of Printing in Jerusalem; he left the school in 1970 but continuted teaching in various schools, including the Bezalel Art Academy in Jerusalem)
