Admitted the the bar in 1800 and opened a practice in the town that he lived in, Paris, Ky., for the remainder of his life. Served in the Kentucky Assembly in 1802, then accepted a post as judge of the Kentucky Court of appeals in 1807. Appointed to the Supreme Court May 9, 1826 until his death on August 25, 1828 in Paris, Ky.. Trimble County, Ky. was named in his honor.) |
