Biography/History noteYolanda Andrade is a documentary photographer with a national and international recognition, whose language is based on urban subjectivity and the expressive power of the collective imaginary. In his work time stands still, frozen images vibrate from the color that prints them. BOOKS: Black and White photographs: Los Velos Transparentes, las Transparencias Veladas (1988), Mexican Passion/Pasión Mexicana (2002) and Melodrama barroco (2007). Color photographs: Fragmentos, Visiones paralelas, El color del cristal (2008); has published independently 25 copies of the book ese extraño mundo de las imágenes (2009) and Paris, A Travel Journal, POD (2010), Una mexicana en Paris (2012), first edition of 50 copies, Enigma (2017), first edition of 25 copies.
